End of Thessaloniki Marathon training week #14

Three more week to go till race day!!! This week was the peak of my training with just two runs (instead of 3) including the last and longest run of this training plan.

  • A 12 k run on Tuesday
  • Thursdays interval run which I skipped. It has been crazy busy the past weeks and just did not feel like running again…
  • The last long run. What a relief! A 33k dress rehearsal including carb loading the day before, a fuel belt with enough energy gels to survive the apocalypse and hydrated to cross the dessert. It all went well. Actually the pace was that of my marathon PB making me happy but also nervous at the same time.

The hard part is over…and the count down has began!

    • Yeah it does, and I need some time to rest. Plus get some time to do other things that I usually have no time to…
