Marathon Training week 1

My first week of marathon training is over. Managed to fit in 4 workouts.

– One easy 5k.

– A 50 minute tempo run. 5 minute warm up and gradual increase of pace to 4.2 min/km

– A 10k long run, although it was not that long…

– Interval training. Two sets of 7 x 200m at 4 min/km pace (on the first set I did only six). 30 sec slow run between intrervals and 3 minutes between sets.
