Go paperless with Doxie

Doxie, Doxie One and Doxie go are the three available scanner models that can help you go wireless. The scanners are really small and light and differ form the traditional flat bed scanners making them really portable, easy to store and good enough to scan your documents and receipts in 8 seconds. After you’re done pop it in your drawer and Doxie does it!

The scanners are good for scanning paper, receipt, business cards, cards and photos. Photos which I find pointless unless you are old enough to have a shoebox collection of printed photos and want to digitise them quickly. And after you have had enough, go out and buy a digital camera.

Scanning receipts, business card could be close to real life use for the scanner. Documents, that again I believe will be of limited use since most documents are digital and emailed to all directions. Scanning kids drawings as shown on their website is the coolest use I can think of. Priceless if you ask me.

The scanners have two resolution, 300 and 600 dpi depending on the model. Also depending on the model you get different features. All scanner work with a PC or Mac and have their own filing and scanning software with built in OCR. They all work with popular services like Evernote, Dropbox and are cloud friendly. The two more expensive models can scan computer free on SD cards, work on batteries and sync to an iPad. A list of full features can be found here.

There are also several color skins and case for Doxie one and go, all sold separately. Doxie one ships Worldwide, so no excuses there.

Probably the simplest solution to going paperless, after burning everything.
