Your radio choice for Sandy.

Looking at hurricane Sandy from a safe distance of  4921 miles and the destruction it has caused I’m surekeeping up to date with whats going on around you  is crucial. With a few million homes being without electricity and in the dark, this radio would be a good choice for an emergency like this.

The Eton Red Cross emergency radio features:

  • AM (520-1710 KHz) & FM (87-108MHz) NOAA weatherband , all 7 channels Built-in 3 white LED light source 1 flashing red LED
  • Can be powered from four different sources: Dynamo/hand crank which charges the Ni-MH battery, From 3 AAA batteries
  • USB cell phone charger, which might be pointless if the network is down…

But since now is too late, better be prepared for next time.
